Impeccable experience! I highly recommend Ryan’s hats. I’ve been following Ryan’s work for a while and made it my mission to go to New York to meet him in person and design a hat. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary. He asked the right questions to ensure the hat truly reflected who I am. Amazing experience buying a fully customized high quality hat from Ryan at his beautiful shop on Sullivan. Ryan is a real gem and a true artist. A throwback to days when people had a skilled trade and were proud of their work. He makes everything by hand. I just purchased my second hat. I get compliments everywhere I go!

We built Ryan's Soho hat shop in 2022. As a client, we really enjoyed Ryan's hands-on approach to design. He made specific design choices which helped us greatly in the construction of his space, giving it exactly the personal touch that he desired. Working with such a dedicated client was a positive experience for us as builders, because it allowed for clear communication throughout the process. His attention to detail is something that we also appreciate, as it allows for us to always become better craftsman. His hat shop is a project that we will always be proud of, and is a project that we use as a shining piece of our portfolio. He is also a great guy, and makes really exciting and inventive hats for his clients!

Ryan is an amazing hat maker! The amount of skill and passion he puts into creating every custom made hat makes him a true craftsman. He is meticulous, takes time to listen and understand what type of hat you are looking for, and uses only high quality materials to create a one of a kind piece that will last you a lifetime. He made a beautiful custom straw hat for me in the summer and I’ve been getting so many compliments on it! Over multiple appointments he made sure the hat fit me perfectly and every detail was exactly how I wanted it. Highly recommend this talented young man to anyone looking for a high end quality hat and a personalized experience.

He’s truly passionate about the detail and process – a master in his craft, not to mention his shop has an amazing collection of curated hats, each with a distinctive charm. Great vibes.
