My best friend and I who share a birthday made an appointment at The Fragrance Shop, and had an AMAZING experience. We were assisted by the lovely Otso, who was very friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly patient! My bestie and I can be very indecisive. Otso made us feel very comfortable and not rushed, even while managing the store themselves. We had a such a great rapport, felt like we were hanging out :). 10/10 recommend, can’t wait to go back and re-fill my fragrance.

Went to the fragrance shop to celebrate mine and my best friend, ana, birthday. Had an amazing time, felt it was a more personal experience than when we went to olfactory the year before. Otso did a great job with attending us while also answering phones and having to deal with walk ins. They were very patient with us while we chose our scents and made the experience better.

I’m a huge fragrance lover and this shop definitely lived up to my expectations!! The staff are very knowledgeable and will do everything they can to make sure you love your custom fragrance. There are so many scents to choose from, I was able to find a bunch I loved even though I’m a bit picky when it comes to fragrances. I would make sure to make an appointment if you’re going on the weekend, which was very easy and I was also able to reschedule my time easily.

Had an amazing experience making my own fragrance here! Came with a friend for her birthday and we stayed for about an hour and a half making our own perfume. Mia (I hope I spelled her name correctly) made the experience so warm and fun - she is extremely personable and helped us narrow down our scents. This is such a unique thing to do and I'm so glad my friend and I decided to come here and support a women-owned small business. I've been wearing my scent every day since! I highly recommend reserving a "private" perfume making experience with them via email as Fridays and weekends tend to get crowded :) The shop itself is very small so be prepared to stand the whole time. I wish they had a bathroom for guests to use but totally understand being in a small shop in the East Village! Just plan accordingly.

What a wonderful experience! Stopped in on a Saturday because my daughter had been wanting to make her own perfume for a while. We were helped by Otso and another person whose name I unfortunately can’t remember. They were both amazing and incredibly helpful. They explained the process thoroughly and ensured that my daughter took her time to really create a fragrance that she loved. Highly recommend this shop and can’t wait to go back and create a new fragrance!
