Been a customer for sometime, and the employees are always friendly and helpful but I can’t say the same about the management. Unfortunately, it seems like the management here has absolutely no idea what they’re doing. The store is often disorganized, and it’s clear there’s a lack of communication between the management and staff. I’ve seen employees left with no guidance on how to handle situations, and when they ask for help, the response is either dismissive or delayed. It's frustrating because the employees genuinely try their best, but they’re set up to fail by a management team that seems uninterested in improving the store's operations. There are frequent mistakes in stock levels and pricing, and it seems like no one is keeping track of the store’s inventory properly. Additionally, management rarely addresses customer concerns or complaints, leaving the staff to pick up the pieces. I’ve witnessed poor decisions made time and time again, and it’s disappointing to see such a good store suffer because of incompetent leadership. Until management changes or improves, I won’t be returning. It’s clear the staff deserves better, and the store could be so much better if it was run properly.

Recently I picked up a pair of jeans during my visit in Los Angeles. I wasn’t completely satisfied so I decided to exchange them at the Mercer location in NYC, while I was visiting. I was helped by Ren. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and took the time to listen to what I was looking for and helped pick out a few styles. We landed on a pair that I am completely satisfied with. Overall great experience shopping with Ren and will be back in soon!

Really excellent store with great customer service. It’s very spacious and they have great pieces. Extremely trendy and individualized. It’s definitely not overwhelming because it is extremely organized which is pleasant. Great place to shop If you are into style or fashion.

On December 10th, around 5 PM, my friend visited the APC store at 131 Mercer Street in SoHo and was subjected to outright racist and offensive behavior from your staff. She overheard them saying, “So who’s going to take the Asian?” followed by another disgusting comment: “But she’s wearing a Chanel bag,” and a final, demeaning remark: “Okay, I will.” This vile, discriminatory conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It’s appalling that a brand like APC would employ staff who openly display such blatant racism. My friend left the store feeling deeply humiliated and unwelcome. As long as this toxic behavior is tolerated in your stores, you’ve lost us as customers permanently. Your brand is now synonymous with prejudice and disrespect, and we will be making others aware of the shameful experience we’ve had.

My friend visited the APC store at 131 Mercer Street in SoHo on December 10th around 5 PM. During her visit, the staff made racist and offensive comments. She overheard them saying, “So who’s going to take the Asian?” followed by another staff member responding, “But she’s wearing a Chanel bag,” and a final response, “Okay, I will.” My friend is deeply hurt and offended by this unacceptable behavior. We find this conduct appalling and discriminatory, and as a result, we will not shop at APC stores again.
