The best part was meeting Marta and Lucia Scarampi, the co-founders, in their showroom! They showed me all the colors in person and I was able to try different capes and blazers on before I picked the one I wanted. The cape was handmade in Italy and shipped directly to me in NYC! I think the next item I want to get is a matching blazer or dress!

As far as I know there is no other designer at this level who has applied her talents to creating chic, safe and effective masks and travel suits during this terrible COVID era. We have purchased her masks, which are very comfortable (there are men’s and women’s sizes) and made with high quality materials. She offers a flight suit that I am sure will be the future of flight. And I purchased a matching mask and dress that will look GREAT when I finally am able to go to a safe social event. And let me say Marta provides the best customer service I have ever encountered. I had a question about the dress I bought and Marta herself zoomed with me!!!

Do you want to feel and look like pure class? Then purchase any of the capes. I own three right now and one with a matching jacket. The quality is exceptional and I have to tell you, whenever I wear them, people ask where I purchased them. They are nothing like you find in a department store. I even had Marta make me matching masks!! Right away people can tell they are something extraordinary! Everything I’ve purchased is fabulous! Pure quality at its finest.

I discovered the Marta Scarampi Collection of Capes and Blazers, through a friend of mine who owns several items. I went to one of Marta and Lucia Scarampi's events and fell in love with the Laura Blazer in cream. I travel a lot and this is the perfect blazer, its made of Italian stretch fabric, doesn't crease, can be washed by hand and dries quickly on a hanger. It was hand made in Torino, Italy, and delivered straight to my home. I have my eye on the capes, they have so many colors and fabrics to choose from! Thank you for making travel packing easier.

FEELING GREAT IN MY STYLISH ITALIAN CAPE! This cape is a great addition to my wardrobe. I feel good and elegant in it. I like the large collar for the style but also because it protects from the wind. And the flaps are trendy. The quality of the wool is excellent. There are useful inside pockets on both sides but I think they should have a closure system (like a buttoned tab) to secure the items you put in there. With a mild fall this year, it is the perfect layer - comfortably warm and light at the same time. In my neighborhood in New York some people have stopped me and asked where to buy this cape. One lady asked "Is it a European brand?". Yes, it's Italian!
