Visited this store from out of town this week. The 2 sales associates in this store sat at the table across from the dressing rooms and chatted the entire time I was there, even when I took a dress in the dressing room to try on. Never once said hello or asked me if I needed help. When I went to buy my dress he said he needed my email for my receipt bc they are paperless. I’m not giving any of my personal info to a company who doesn’t even care to address me. I left wo my receipt and will never return.

The GREAT SOHO has become my favorite place to shop. I love the clothes but the staff in the store is what makes the shopping experience incredible. If you are unable to visit the store in person I highly recommend calling the store if you have any questions especially ones about sizing. I have never met a more knowledgeable or experienced staff, especially Katt.

Never been so disrespected by any store staff anywhere other than this store. Nobody greeted me when I walked in. Nobody talked to me while i was browsing. Both staffs just ignored me and one of them even stared me up and down and didn't say anything. So rude. I tried not taking it personally thinking maybe they had a bad day. In walked a frequent customer their attitude changed 180. I love THE GREAT but, rest assured I won't be buying or coming back again.

I've been to the Marin Country Mart and Abbot Kinney locations of The Great and sadly, this location lacks the west coast vibe, charm, friendliness, and customer service. We weren't greeted at all or asked if I needed to any help, and when we eventually walked out, no one said a word. In contrast, the other two locations I've been too have been the polar opposite - welcoming and helpful. My teenage daughter chalked it up to it "being NY" for it being so different from how you're treated at the California locations. I think that since The Great is a California brand; the staff should match that vibe. One star off for that. I wouldn't go back or recommend that location. But I adore the clothes, shoes, and accessories, as well as the gifting/home selection! Wish this location had some more NYC-specific merchandise.
