Very poor customer service at this store. Most of staff is unfriendly and shows little interest in helping customers. In particular, a tall man with thick glasses was rude and seemed annoyed when I asked for assistance. I won’t be shopping here again.

I came here on a Monday around noon. The store was chill, but there were still a few shoppers around. A nice amount of people to shop along next to. They had a great fabric that was 89% Cupro 11% Elastane. It feels like button. Loved the fabric, hated the styles in the store. I would have loved to have found a Cupro T-shirt in black or maroon. They have one online, so I might go for that. Their sizing can be a bit tough for me. It feels inflated. Their smallest size, in many styles, is quite large. I tried on: -Organic Cotton T-shirt in Black -Silk Button-down in Burgundy -Leather Shorts in Black The T-shirt and the silk shirt were both the smallest sizes, and too large on me. The shorts weren’t bad, but I didn’t love the gathered part at the top of the waist. Take that off and these would have been great leather shorts. The quality on the silk shirt didn’t feel great. Just based on feel, I initially thought the shirt was polyester, and was surprised to see it say silk on the tag. & Other Stories does tend to use unique fabrics for some of their styles. Like Cupro, or 100% wool T-shirts. They’re not the best quality (that’s what you get for the price), but I applaud their use of unique fabrics for basic styles. This is the one reason why I will occasionally check back in.

Bought a pair of linen shorts from here on vacation from Canada and they literally fell apart in one wear. I loved them initially and they fit perfectly so I wore them *once*. I came home, did my laundry and laid them out to dry only to find that they are falling apart. Because I have misplaced my receipt, customer service said there’s nothing that can be done. What a waste of money and honestly pretty useless customer service/returns policy given that I still have the charge on my CC statement and images of the item before and after purchase and realistically they could help me if they wanted to. Very disappointing.

I was followed around in this store yesterday, which was extremely upsetting. When an employee comes behind or near you and randomly starts going through clothing and quickly scuttles off when you turn around, there are very few, if any other, explanations. (Sidebar: Of the many employees around me during my visit, including the one who came up behind me, not one asked whether I was finding every thing all right. Unclear whether that is a store/company policy, BUT if the employee behind me while I was in a corner, mind you, would have asked me that, I wouldn't be here writing this.) I would imagine it's difficult to steal clothing, especially as fall/winter clothing tends to be bulky, and I barely spent any time around the smaller goods like jewelry and sunglasses. I did go into the dressing room and there wasn't an attendant there, but I walked out with all the same clothing I walked into it with (and when I walked out, she still wasn't there). I also carry a large tote, but even then I walked in with that tote, and I very clearly did not put any merch inside of it (and aren't your clothing items tagged to prevent theft anyway?) Please train your employees to better look out for customers who are actually stealing instead of turning people off from this store and the brand as a whole. If you are worried about people stealing, do what 260 Sample Sale does and hold bags in advance, but please do not follow customers in stores. It's dehumanizing, especially when they're not shoplifting.

WHAT is up with the employees at this store… the tall man with tinted glasses was the rudest I’ve been treated by a store associate in recent memory. Raising your voice at a customer is never acceptable.
