The Alo Yoga store in NYC is decent, and the staff and the store itself are just okay not particularly remarkable. However, the products are extremely overpriced for what they offer. Honestly, I don’t understand the hype. Brands like Nike, Under Armour, and Adidas provide better quality and performance at a much more reasonable price. Even Kirkland, a brand known for its affordability, delivers similar or better quality at a fraction of the cost at least five times cheaper! If you’re looking for value for your money, this store might not be the best choice.

I’ve brought the pants i’ve purchased recently for a return because the size didn’t fit. 2 times i’ve said i was there for a return. The lady by the register did not give a lot of questions and asked me to tap my card — she charges me for the second time instead of processing refund and took the pants. I walked out the store without pants being sure i’ve receive the refund. Found out later I was charged second time for the pants i’ve returned. No One from the store picked up my calls. So frustrating and terrible, have to waste my time now to go there and figure it out with them about their mistake.

Great staff and clean. The bathroom are closed (staff said it was dirty). The black mini sheer mesh duffel bag was sold out online. This location still had a few, and I called this morning. The staff saved me one (they only had 3 left) and wrote my name so I could come and get it. The cashier was amazing. They were out of Alo tote bags. It was prime Sunday lunchtime, so they had plenty of security guards and employees on the floor.

I purchased a pair of shoes in-store and asked to have them shipped to my address in the Bay Area. However, the staff incorrectly marked the item as “picked up” in their system, even though I never received the shoes. I’ve tried calling the store multiple times—no one ever picks up. When I finally reached customer service, they simply told me that the system says I picked it up, and offered no real help or resolution. I’m left with no shoes, no refund, and no answers. I’m extremely anxious and frustrated. This was not a small purchase, and I trusted ALO as a professional brand. Instead, I’ve been met with silence, confusion, and zero accountability. I sincerely hope someone from ALO will take this seriously and help resolve this issue as soon as possible. Customers deserve to feel heard and supported—not ignored and dismissed.

Quite literally the worst Alo I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot. I came in to purchase two sweatshirts for my sister who is smaller than me and an employee rolled her eyes when I asked her for the sizes. The girl clearly didn’t want to help so she asked her male coworker if he was going to help me and then as I was walking away he asked to the girl “ why is she getting an xs if she’s clearly not an xs???” Staff clearly thinks they’re hot shit and will someday get terminated for saying things like that to the wrong person
