God that is some weird dancing… Idk this girl just doesn’t fit the role in my opinion, she looks like– 16-17ish. Maybe it’s the clothes?

Why did she run up the stairs before leaving to boarding school to kiss and hug Humbert? What was her motive?

You’re a fool attempting to salvage your own personal fetishes with pretentious rhetoric. Children who are forced into early sexual activity often are forced into early development, which is statistically linked to depression with particularly poor results for girls.

master5020: Mis-stating any issue is distortion. Don’t be totally junk-media brainwashed by their distortions for ‘scare profit’-not-protection since the 1980s fraud market Cash Compensation Culture. Denying any child free access to another human being is fascist control freakery. Checkout past-adultophile/NON-victim serious academic & author Judith Levine’s ‘ The Perils Of Protecting Children from Sex’. And what Victorian mentality says that anyone cant be aMused by their own mind & body ?

Master50002020: is a little child so sick for kissing a smaller person or a larger person? We don’t think so – maybe those who see sickness are sick !

Yeah same, it can be a depressing movie, but I still enjoy it. I love tragic romances.

@UnyieldingDefiance That’s what I think. It’s why I like it so much.

@mmar149 You shouldnt underestimate teenagers. I read this book at 13, saw the stanley kubrick film at 14. True, first time round I didn’t fully understand and appreciate the tale but now I’m 17 and it’s one of my favourite books/movies.
